God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
For Jesus Christ, our Saviour,
Was born upon this day
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray.

O tidings of comfort and joy,
comfort and joy;
O tidings of comfort and joy!

Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace.
The holy tide of Christmas
All others doth efface.

O tidings of comfort and joy!
For Jesus Christ, our Saviour,
Was born on Christmas Day.

Happy Birthday Jesus.

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Love,
Oluwa

Yes, Yes, Yes Happy Birthday Jesus! HE is the REAL meaning for the season. In my family we buy a birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. This year I said I was going to have the kids, ages ranging from 3-15 write out what Christmas, namely Jesus being born, means to them. It's so important that they not get so caught up in the commercialism of the sason and forget the true meaning.

Wow Pretty in Pink,

We have that tradition, also. When the kids were younger, we would also have rhythm band instruments and the kids would play them as we listened to a christmas tape. They would march around and sing songs for Jesus' birthday party.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESUS

In Him,

Karen

Hi Ladies,

We also celebrate Jesus' birth. In fact, this year I purchased a sign from our church ladies that states "Remember the real reason for Christmas, Jesus is born." I placed the sign in our front yard for the entire neighborhood to remember the real reason for Christmas.

Happy Birthday Jesus!! We pray to you through trials and tribulations, and praise you for the same. Jesus loved women, and showed compassion for many throughout the Bible.

Thanks Faith for that prayer. This was a very stressful and trying day and to take the time to read your words of prayer helps me be able to remember, again what I wrote only yesterday.

May God Bless you and yours,

Karen

Karen,

I am sorry to hear you had a stressful day. I hope your day gets better. I was sitting in church and listening to the sermon this last Sunday and was really pleasantly surprised by how many times God had compassion on women in the Bible; out of love. It really warmed my heart.

Lupus effects mainly women so I said the prayer for everyone; most especially for the women on this board.

May God Bless you and yours,

Faith

Thank you for thinking about and praying for us when you heard that sermon. God's compassion is measureless.
