We are researchers from the University of Iowa and San Jose State University who are studying communication and the medical encounter. We are requesting your permission to post a link to your message board(s) that invites participants to complete a survey about their experiences with talking to physicians about health information they find on the internet (www.interpersonal.org/healthsurvey). The survey is completely anonymous and will take approximately 15 minutes.

We plan to present the findings from this study through presentations and publications and believe that it will help increase our knowledge about effective healthcare communication.
