The main difference between optimism and pessimism resides in the notion of memory. The pessimist aptly recalls the hurts and failures of yesterday, but simply cannot remember the plentiful possibilities of a new tomorrow. The optimist has a hopeful future already memorized.

I like it when we come across someone words, who can eloquently say what we feel. Thank you, Hatlay...I really liked it...

Love,
Oluwa

That's the first time I've heard optimism and pessimism put that way. How true it is. Thanks Hatlady.

Hatlady;
Another one to paste to my bathroom mirror. This one is more for my husband than for me. He has a tendency to see the "Glass more than half empty!" He can be such a cynic sometimes and I often have to remind him that the world is filled with beauty, graciousness, kindness, humanity, and hope....you just have to be determined to see it. As My motto below says, "Look For The Good And Praise It!"
Thank you for those well spoken words.

Peace and Blessings
