You should do as your doctor says. If the pain is really bad you need to go to emergency even if you do not like hospitals. Let them decide if you stay or go home. You do not know what is wrong with you. It may not waite till tuesday. Smile

hey watever ya name is am really thankfull to you for helping out here,ye i need to go to emergency but i have an appointment on the coming28th of this month and am waiting patiently,bout the pain,for god sake its still bearable can handle it,,,,anyways thanks to you....

hiii all
thank g-d am back again after kidney biopsy and am fed up of hospital,,it was so boring i was there for 4 days and i have a question to whoever undergo kidney biopsy,,,i have tis flank pain still,its nearly a week i have done the biopsy,,,wat? this pain usually remain?i cant move when i take deep breath i felt pain in my side and now i hardly can lift my left legs the side where the biopsys done...i complaint to ma doc,,,he conduct an us kidney its normal,,,so ,,,needs ya opinion..thanks

I know this is late, but I'm wondering if you ever got my private message answering your questions? I never got a response from you, so I wasn't sure.
At any rate, have you gotten results back from your kidney biopsy yet? The test is usually done to diagnose kidney disease, to evaluate the extent of damage to the kidney, and to determine the cause of protein or blood in the urine (proteinuria and hematuria). It is not common to suffer severe pain at the biopsy site, therefore you should contact your doctor immediately! Also, are you experiencing any abdominal pain, or pain that radiates down into the groin? If so, please contact your doctor immediately.
Mild aching and discomfort in the loin area (due to irritation of the back muscles) is typical and not cause for concern.
Please let us know what your doctor says and how you are doing.

hi saysusie!
thanks for the concern,ye i got a severe pain in ma left flank,i told ma doc he invites me for us yesterday....i was there the us seems to be normal,,,they saw a blood and told be its where the biopsy is done and its normal,,,he told me if i have a continue pain till thursday i have to contact him....todays tuesday still the pain continue,,hope its over till thursday.anyways i dnt check ma mail and i dunno if i recieved ya mail,anyways thanks and keep in touch,,,millions thanks and hugggs.

From what I learned about PM's logging on and checking them..you have to use the regular log in , and not the one that says log in to check private messages.

Once logged in, the just click on you have xxx messages...

Saysusie Lyss may not have gotten your PM also because that is when the site went down....

Lyss the site was down from April 14 to May 9...I know it came back online on the 9th...

Hope this helped with the cross messages and logging on...

hii oluwa and saysusie..thanks alots for the concern,,you know i was thinking theres noone in this word who understand ma sickness and problems,,,i used to tell ma frend tey told me its phsycology,,,i used to be so hurt,,at last i found this site where everyone understand me,,thanks again,,,and saysusie i login to check ma privatemail and theres no message,,sorry to say...buts its ok..anywaays thanks all..

There are many people here who understand your sickness, and your problems. I'm glad to see you back. Many people told me my problems were psychological, or "in my head" too. It turns out it wasn't. I know how you feel. Anyway,sometimes the internet confuses the heck out of me too. Just keep trying and it will get easier. It's good to hear from you.
