What is considered a high dosage of prednisone? Ive been on it for 13 years at different dosages.

Less than 7.5 mg per day is generally considered a low dose; up to 40 mg daily is a moderate dose; and more than 40-mg daily is a high dose. But since the side effects are cumulative, even a low dose taken over a long period of time can cause side effects.
