Hello to everyone.
Today I got to work and I decided I would join a support group for Lupus.
I've had Lupus since 1991, at age eleven. I spent almost 6 months in hospital.
Does anyone in this group have alopecia universalis due to Lupus by any chance??
I would like to discuss this matter further....

We can all use more light in our lives, so you are very welcome. ButterflyRN, another member of the forum was also diagnosed around that age - she may have a lot more insight for you.
There are some posts on the symptoms forum about hair loss that might be helpful. I lost most of my hair and also my eyelashes during chemo treatments however it all grow back. I had a lot of problems with eye irritation and had to be extremely careful about keeping my eyes protected, especially at night.
Do your doctors believe your hair will regrow? I know there will be others here with more ibformation for you - I just wanted to welcome you, |
