Whats the first thing docs medicate you with for Lupus. I dont mean Ibuprofen or such, I mean the actual Lupus.

Prednisone>Antimalarials>Immunosuppressives>Chemotherapy

Is this pretty much how it works? Question Question Question

If the organs aren't affected or only mildly affected, antimalarials are usually used first. If there is a lot of inflamation steroids are also prescribed. Innunosuppresents and chemotheropy are used when there is more severe organ involvement. Hope this helps Smile .
