My names Nikita , I'm 18 and I'm confused
For the past couple of days I've been experiencing
a rather wide range of symptoms on and off, including the following:
* muscle/joint aches
* fatigue
* hot/cold temperature ( no fever )
*cracking/popping joints
* ulcer on tonsles
* sore eyes
* bad headaches
* difficulty walking
*chest pain ( taking deep breath )
* nose bleed
*sore glands
When I looked in the mirror today at my legs , my
knees seems like the were almost pointing inward which worried me.
Basically I feel like I'm falling apart lol =[
Am a little scared because I've always hated going
to the doctor , and to think of being poked and proded
with needles to find out whats wrong with me is horrifying.
So I would much appreciate it if I could get any suggestions/help
as to if what I have may be lupus or not.
Thanks xxx

Sounds like you are having a rough time. I can sympathize, as can most here. Check with your doctor. It's the first step, and a very needed one. Good luck, bunker! |

Hi Sweetthing -
I know an array of symptoms can be scary, and some COULD point to lupus, but they could be many other things as well. There is no way of knowing unless you go to a doctor, honey. I dont think youll be poked and prodded with needles - you may need a physical exam and some blood work...but there is no other way to find out whats going on.
You really should not wait, OK? I know docs are scary for some people, but you really dont have a choice if you want to start feeling better...
Let us know how you make out...

Hi Sweet
Welcome to the site. Like Lauri was saying, nobody can tell you for sure if you have Lupus or what is going on with you. You have to go to your doctor and he can do tests on you to see what is going on. It is not bad, they will just examine you and then do some blood work. I don't think that they will poke and prod you with any needles. I hope that you see a doctor immediately. Post and let us know ok.
Hugs,

Hi Nikita....
Welcoming you with a big tight hug..squeeze....
You sound like you have some of the symptoms of Lupus, but know Lupus is a great mimicker of other diseases.
I would suggest you do get poked, and probed to rule out diseases to find out what is wrong.
For any disease the best thing is early detection to treat the symptoms so the disease does not evolve....
There is relief out there for you, please make an appointment..you're body is telling you something is wrong in there...
Keep looking for your wellness...
Hugs,
