Saysusie,
Do you have any leads on Support Groups in the Central CA area? I asked my Hemotologist/Oncologist and he was not aware of any. I saw a flier in my Rhuemy's office. When I called the # it was disconnected with no forwarding. I don't know if I would actually attend, but I would mull the idea over. I am not really a group sort of person.
My family is having such a hard time adjusting to the changes going on in my life and they are starting to resent hearing about all of my lupus/other issues all of the time. I need to stop airing my thoughts and feelings to them because they just can't handle it. My husband still just thinks I am going to find the right pill and I will be all better. He just doesn't get it. My children are at the age where they are wrapped up in themselves and it will be years before they are capable of the sort of empathy I feel I need.
I would appreciate any info or direction you can steer my way.
Thanks,
Bonnie B
