My friend have lupus and she is looking for a really good doctor in New York.
Day by day she is feeling really bad. Today she almost fell in coma .
The problem is that every time she goes to doctor they thing that she is hipohondric or that she is in really deep depresion or stress.......(By the way I'm sorry for my english....)
I really really( from all my hearth) want to help her find the right doctor or the right place for her. Please give me some information about rheumatologists in new york city. Or what we are suppost to do or where to go! Thank you so much in advance!

Where in New York does your friend live? Does your friend have medical insurance? Does she belong to an HMO (Health Management Organization - A corporation financed by insurance premiums whose member physicians and professional staff provide curative and preventive medicine within certain financial, geographic, and professional limits to enrolled volunteer members and their families)?
Knowing that will help in attempting to locate a good rheumatologist for her. In the meantime, here is a website that lists rheumatologists in New York:

She lives in New York city. She has Aethna insurance.Thank you so much!
